Application Preparation and Planning Workshop

Avis important: La date limite pour transmettre les résumés considérés pour la participation à l'atelier de préparation à Ouagadougou était le 31 août. Les résumés ne sont désormais plus acceptés pour cet atelier.  La date limite pour transmettre une demande de recherche concernent la gestion des resources d’eau à l’IFS est le 31 decembre 2007. Important notice: The last date to submit abstracts in consideration for participation in the November 19 – 21 preparation Workshop date in Ouagadougou was 31 August. Abstracts will no longer be accepted for the Workshop.  The deadline for proposals to IFS for Volta Basin researchers on water and food related topics is 31 December 2007. Please refer any questions to Marcia Macomber m.macomber@cgiar.org.

The Challenge Program on Water and Food is recruiting applicants to a special call for proposals hosted by the International Foundation for Science (IFS), as part of our capacity strengthening goals for young scientists.

The CPWF will host a workshop for applicants on November 19-23, 2007 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, providing assistance in the development of IFS applications linked to CPWF research interests. 

Successful applicants will be provided mentorship from senior scientists in an international and multidisciplinary environment.
