Opportunities for Students |
Students currently enrolled in degree programs in one of the CPWF benchmark basins, or who are from one of the benchmark basin countries, and are currently enrolled in a degree program outside of their basin may be eligible for the following training opportunities:
The Borlaug LEAP is a fellowship program, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), provides research support to enhance the quality of thesis research of graduate students from developing countries who show strong promise as leaders in the field of agriculture and related disciplines. The Borlaug LEAP fellowship program provides the opportunity for joint supervision between faculty from the student’s university and a researcher within the CGIAR system.
Application Deadline:
Applications are received year round, administrative deadline for 2007 is: March 15th, 2007.
Eligibility Requirements:
Graduate students from Benchmark Basins who are interested in CPWF research themes and projects going on within their basin, who would like to apply for a Borlaug Fellowship, should contact: Marcia Macomber m.macomber@cgiar.org, providing the answers to the questionnaire
