Competitive Call Projects

CPWF's first competitive call for project proposals yielded a portfolio of 50 high quality projects, of which, 33 currently receive funding.

Projects were selected by an independent, external, evaluation panel based on the following criteria:

compatibility with CPWF development objectives
scientific merit of proposed research
strategic relevance to CPWF research agenda and priorities
quality and institutional mix of the research team and degree of stakeholder participation
likely impact on beneficiaries
value for money

A number of projects are cross cutting across both basins and research themes.
